69th National Film Awards 2023: The much-awaited award night of the film industry has finally comes to an end. The 69th edition of the “National Film Awards 2023” concluded at the National Media Centre in New Delhi and all the winners were announced on 24 August 2023 by the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting.
The mega event saw many stars winning big in their respective categories. South superstar Allu Arjun won the “Best Actor award” for Pushpa while the Best Actress Award jointly shared by Alia Bhatt for Gangubai Kathiawadi and Kriti Sanon for Mimi. Rocketry: The Nambi Effect won the award in “Best Feature Film”.

About the Awards
- Every year, the National Film Awards serve as a symbol to honour the best film in the Indian cinema. The Union Ministry of Information and Broadcasting’s Directorate of Film Festivals oversees the organisation of the National Film Awards.
- Since 1954, these awards have been presented each year.
- The duty of managing these awards was transferred to the Directorate of Film Festivals in 1973.
- This year, the winners were announced on 24 August 2023 by the Minister of Information and Broadcasting in a press conference.
