Australian Cricket Awards 2023: Australian batter Usman Khawaja has bagged the inaugural “Shane Warne Men’s Test Player of the Year Award” at the Australian Cricket Awards 2023. The award is named in the honour of legendary Australian leg spinner Shane Warne who passed away in March last year. Khawaja has been a key player for the Australian team since his return in January 2022 scoring 1020 runs at an average of 78.26. Last week, Khawaja was named as the ICC Test Team of the Year alongside Australian teammates Pat Cummins, Nathan Lyon and Marnus Labuschagne.
