Madrid Spain Masters 2023: Top Indian shuttler PV Sindhu suffered a humiliating loss in the final at the hands of World No. 12 Georgia Mariska Tunjung of Indonesia 21-8,21-8 in a one-sided contest to clinch Women’s Singles title in the “Madrid Spain Masters Super 300 badminton tournament” held in Madrid, Spain from 28 March- 2 April 2023. Before the summit clash in Madrid, Sindhu and Tunjung had faced each other seven times, with the Indian winning all matches.
