Miss U.S.A Wins Miss Universe 2022– Miss U.S.A R’Bonney Gabriel wins the 71st edition of the “Miss Universe 2022” held at the New Orleans Morial Convention Center in New Orleans, Louisiana, United States on January 14, 2023. The Former Miss Universe Harnaaz Sandhu of India crowned the Miss U.S.A at a hugely anticipated event.
Miss U.S.A Wins Miss Universe 2022: Key Highlights
- Contestants from over 84 countries participated and compete at this year’s beauty pageant.
- The pageant hosted by “Jeannie Mai” and Miss Universe 2012 Olivia Culpo. Culpo also hosted the Miss Universe 2020 contest, while Jeannie Mai was the backstage host during Miss Universe 2014.
- This year’s beauty pageant saw many debutants like Bhutan, and the comeback of countries like Angola, Belize, Indonesia, Kyrgyzstan, Lebanon, Malaysia, Myanmar, Saint Lucia, Seychelles ( Which last completed in 1995), Switzerland, Trinidad and Tobago and Uruguay.
- Denmark, Hungary, Ireland, Israel, Kenya, Morocco, Romania, and Sweden did not complete in this year’s beauty pageant as they failed to hold a national competition.
- This year was the 71st edition of the Miss Universe 2022 and won by the R’Bonney Gabriel of U.S.A.
- The winner of the 70th edition of the Miss Universe 2022 Harnaaz Sandhu of India crowned its successor at the event.
