President Draupadi Murmu Appoints New Governors for 13 States: Ahead of assembly elections in some states and the general elections next year, The President of India Draupadi Murmu on Sunday appointed 13 new Governors for 12 States and 1 Union Territories. The appointment of the Governors were followed by the resignation of the Governor of Maharashtra Bhagat Singh Koshyari to the President of India Former Judge of the Supreme Court of India “S. Abdul Nazeer” has been appointed the Governor of Andhra Pradesh. Retired Brigadier of Indian Army “BD Mishra” was appointed Governor of the Union Territories of Ladakh.
